[Vision2020] Heading Home, John L.?

Which speculates that the UI has been in contact with John L. Smith to
fill Dennis "I've always wanted to be a Sun Devil" Erickson's shoes
(again).

While that might work, maybe it's time to look forward instead of
backwards.  How far can we go?  Time to dig up Ed Troxel? (literally,
we'd have to dig him up, may he rest in peace).

I'll admit it.  I bought into the "I'd like to retire from here in a few
years" schpiel that Erickson spewed when he got here, and it was a
pretty exciting time for a while there, along with a "just wait 'til
next year" vibe.  Would I welcome John L?  More than likely.  He did
good things here as well, so it might be worth a shot.  Or should we
maybe look to the future, and hook up Kecey Dunn with a well deserved
head coaching job?  Chris Tormey was one of those unproven hires, but so
were Holt and Cable.

Come on, Carl, help me out of my funk.
