[Vision2020] Out of His/Her mouth comes blessings and curses!

Keely,

I do not know that you know what Imprecatory prayer is and that is why
I asked you for your definition. You see many times conversations have
to come to a common definition of terms in order to communicate. That
is why I asked. I did not listen to the radio show. I would have had to
be parked within 150' of the tower in order to get any reception.

As to my looking to David for an example of a Godly man's prayer life,
he is the best human response to reality that I have. Being a man after
God's own heart and all.

Therefore my question to you still stands unanswered. 1). Could you
please point out previous posts of mine, where on blind2020 I have
"staunchly defend(ed) imprecatory prayer". And 2) could you give YOUR
definition of just what an imprecatory prayer is.

Thanks, Doug!

You have said you find no fault with your pastor, who has perfected the
art of both imprecatory prayer and its defense.

You know what imprecatory prayer, and you know that I know.

I know that you are aware of my discussing this with your pastor during
our radio debate.
You also know, or should know, that to overlook the example of Jesus in
the New Testament in favor of David's prayers in the Old is an odd
method of hermeneutics, and one for which any other pastor would gently
but firmly correct you.

And here's what I also know: Nothing I say matters to you, and if it
did, you would be forced to examine some of your allegiances. I guess I
don't blame you for just choosing to argue with me, so have at it.

Keely,

Could you please point out previous posts of mine, where on blind2020 I
have "staunchly defend(ed) imprecatory prayer". And while you are at it
could you give YOUR definition of just what an imprecatory prayer is?
Then I can see if what I pray is what you define as imprecatory. Maybe
while your at it, you could give examples from the Psalms, David's use
of imprecatory prayers.

Doug!

A man who staunchly defends imprecatory prayer probably isn't the one
who ought to pose such a question.
