RE: Missing Hunters

Three men have not returned from a hunting trip that began yesterday
(11/30/2006) at 09:30. Twenty-six year-old Dustin Pierson of Moscow and his
cousins, brothers 16 year-old Skyler Pierson, and 13 year-old Calen Pierson
of Moscow reportedly left the teenagers' residence Thursday morning to hunt.
Skyler and Calen's mother, Kate Pierson reported the boys had not returned
at 20:30 last night. Latah County Sheriff deputies and personnel from other
area agencies (including road crews and logging companies) have continued
their search for the missing hunters since the time of the report.
Unfortunately, the young men did not inform Kate Pierson where they intended
to hunt, so Search and Rescue has not been deployed to any targeted area.

Idaho Fish and Game and Latah County personnel have traveled and are
continuing to travel many of the remote roads throughout the county looking
for the burgundy Toyota Tacoma pickup (Idaho temporary tag T6K014812) the
men left in. Due to weather conditions, air searches have not been
possible. Other counties have been notified and are assisting us in
locating the men and Search and Rescue is on standby awaiting information
that would assist us in a targeted search. We are asking that anyone who
thinks he/she has seen the men contact local law enforcement and the Latah
County Sheriff's Office.

Due to an error in the call entry, earlier reports indicated a fourth man
was missing. He is not missing and we are only looking for the three
Pierson men.
