[Vision2020] How are you best notified?

UI even goes further than that.

Every morning (Monday thru Friday) an email is sent out to virtually
everybody titled "Today at Idaho".

This email discusses everything from happenings around campus to road
closures to building closures to . . . you name it.

But then UI consists of a "captive" audience, each person required to have
an email address, thus making it very easy to reach out and touch everybody.

The city of Moscow is not so captive. To "get the word out" one must be a
bit imaginative and creative.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

When the UI was doing work, they had a web site that showed the new
buildings and streets that they were working on. On it was not only video
but had updates and expected completion dates. Couldn't the City borrow
that technology and do the same?
