NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE LATAH COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
Tuesday, May 16th, 2006
5:35 p.m.

Per Idaho Code 67-6509 and 67-6511 and the Latah County Zoning Ordinance,
the Latah County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 5:35 p.m.
on Tuesday, May 16th, 2006, in the Auditorium at Moscow High School, 402 E.
5th Street, Moscow, Idaho, to receive comments on:

Repealing the current Subdivision, Zoning and Manufactured Home Ordinances
for Latah County and adopting a new "land use" ordinance to replace the
repealed ordinances; an amendment to the "Official Zoning Map of Latah
County" legislatively rezoning the Highway Business and Neighborhood
Business zones to a zone titled "Commercial" as designated in the "land use"
ordinance, and the Multiple Family Residential and the Single Family
Residential zones to a zone titled "Suburban Residential" as designated in
the "land use" ordinance; and reducing the size of the Moscow Sub-basin
Groundwater Overlay Zone.  

All interested parties are encouraged to attend the hearing.  Accommodations
for individuals who qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act are
available upon request.  Notice is required in the Planning Office three
working days prior to the hearing in order to acquire accommodations.

This hearing will be held pursuant to the Latah County Hearing Procedures
Ordinance, under authority of the Idaho Local Planning Act, and under the
Latah County Zoning Ordinance.  The Latah County Planning Commission
reserves the right to limit the length of testimony.
