The verses of the Bible you are refering too were originally quoted by Joan Opyr, not myself. As for my being homophobic; if you had bothered to really read any of this you would know it had nothing to do with homosexuality in the beginning. It had to do with Joan's attempt to mangle the message of 1st Samuel.
I wonder why I am even conversing with some person who does not have enough confidence in their own words to use a real name? Maybe I am going as crazy as the rest of you... lol
At any rate, it is very difficult to take you seriously when you are a fictional character to begin with.

You quoted your interpretation of what are some very ambiguous verses of the bible to support your homophobia. Hence, I used nearby passages who meaning is a lot clearer to show some interesting aspects of the morality of David (alleged forefather of Jesus). If murder forwarding adultery is OK with David, what is inconsistent or unbelievable about him with having a little fellatio with someone he dearly loves.

What is Joan trying to make us believe here? That David and Jonathan engaged in homosexual activities with each other? That is crazy, but then again, who should be surprised at that from Joan?
This chapter and verse is taken completely out of context and has nothing to do with homosexual activity what-so-ever but with the bond between David and Jonathan (Saul's son) as friends. Joan has obviously never had a friend she trusted or loved with her soul. Or, perhaps, not one that she has not had sex with anyway.
To offer up this text as evidence that homosexuality is accepted in the Bible is ludicrous and bordering on blasphemy. Talk about a stretch of the imagination.... WOW!
