One thing I noticed years ago in local 'reconstructionist' thinking was a
significant disrespect for any law or officials that went further than a
'biblical' society would permit. Any residential construction code was
despised, and there were even conversations on the propriety of government
or state roads. Over the last 8 years or so this has been toned down
progressively, and I doubt would now represent the majority kirker position;
but I think this does still play heavily in the kirk psyche on these issues.
Over time, the kirk-community polis is to politically carve into the
existing 'statist' framework.

Don't forget: each and very person has a responsibility to obey the law.
That's the down-side to living in a country that give people the right to
thumb their nose at their government.
