Come on, Wayne --
I couldn't care less what Donovan and ToeKnee think about Dr. Weitz, and
Gerry and I have come down on different sides of things before, but that's a
gratuitous slap that doesn't further any discussion. Gerry has been an
ardent supporter of non-college bound kids in our district, has spent an
enormous amount of time, money, and effort on things to benefit them -- the
current PCRHS facility comes immediately to mind -- and has been a
passionate defender of public education for decades. Gerry is a doer, not a
complainer, and even when we've disagreed, he's made me think and there's no
doubt that he does what he does so as to make sure the benefits of public
education extend to every kid -- not just the kids who already have
defenders, but the kids whose needs often get lain aside.
Wayne, there are ways to express your annoyance at ToeKnee's jumping in to
the fray without knowing of what he speaks, Wilson-wise, and most of us know
that Donovan tends toward the negative with less-than-full information --
but your issue is with them, remember? I hate to see you lose your
credibility by impugning that of someone else who doesn't deserve it.

Question to Donovan and ToeKneeTime:
Some of us are having a difficult time understanding the nature of the
sources of your information and your apparent disconnect from reality.
You don't have to respond to the following question should the answer be too
embarrassing. However, if either of you are kind enough to respond, it
might help the rest of us ordinary mortals understand where you are coming
from maybe a little better.
Are either of you by any chance related in some way to Gerald Weitz?
