That's the ticket, Chasuk, with the addendum that Doug and company have
long engaged in targeted imprecatory prayer. Tony needn't fret himself
that this is a paranoid liberal fantasy; Doug won't deny it. Why
should he? He doesn't believe there's anything wrong with it. Christ
Church, under Doug, has routinely engaged in imprecatory prayer for
years; it's part and parcel of the church's "enemy theology," which
Michael Metzler has so aptly exposed on his blog,
http://poohsthink.com. Let us not forget that Doug Wilson is Michael's
pastor, or that Michael is (still) a member in good standing of Christ
Church. I think a visit to the Wood is in order, Tony -- or perhaps to
the woodshed.

I also think it would behoove you, Tony, to recognize that many on this
list are light years' ahead of you in experience and research into the
Wilson phenomenon. Have you read Doug's magazine, Credenda Agenda
(http://www.credenda.org)? What about Wilson's many books, including
Federal Husband, Reforming Marriage, Future Men and, lest we forget,
the infamous Southern Slavery: As It Was? I've read them; so have
Rose, Saundra, Nick Gier, and many, many others. (Donovan, I'm
guessing, has not. He displays no familiarity whatsoever with their
contents.)

You have done yourself a great disservice, Tony, by leaping onto Vision
2020, guns a-blazing, without having the least idea of what you're
talking about re: Douglas J. Wilson. It's a bit like me invading the
International Physics Convention, jumping up onto the stage and
shouting, "Do ya'll have any evidence of quarks? I mean aside from
your pointy-headed theories and allegations." I'll have to think of
some other way to win the Nobel.
