With the Bush tax cuts for the top 1%, I was able to afford that new jet for
my personal business/pleasure trips, so I will be attending the concert. No
need to worry about the bankruptcy of major US airlines putting a crimp in my
itinerary!
I did a recent fly over of New Orleans on my way to a Caribbean pleasure
outing. Too bad that all those poor folks living in the New Orleans's lowlands
could not fund the $14 billion needed to improve the New Orleans's flood
protection system. The federal government and taxation is not the answer to local
problems! If they had saved and scrimped and broken open some penny filled
piggy banks, the problem could have been solved locally.
Of course the Netherlands somehow funded storm surge barriers to protect the
below sea level areas of that nation that are engineering marvels, expected to
protect them for decades and decades to come. But there's no way the USA
will become an evil socialist nation like the Netherlands, not with my millions
spent lobbying the US Congress to hold back the sinister socialists seeking to
waste US citizens hard earned tax dollars with federally funded construction
projects to protect them from well known impending disasters.
How un-American!
