Mike
I, too, was turned off by Ms. Lovely. Lame.

I see two options. Ignore the whole New Cities effort, or take matters into
our own hands. Surely this community is able to facilitate input gathering
if we want.

The disadvantage of doing the vision gathering that New Cities suggests
using V2020 is that all the ideas can¹t be seen in one place ‹ they are
scattered in the archives among other conversations.

To that end, I made space for it to happen in MoscowWiki
(http://moscowwiki.editme.com/NewCities) . Maybe no one will take me up on
it, we'll see. Personally, I'd rather take a few minutes composing my vision
of Moscow ( see http://moscowwiki.editme.com/NewCitiesBeHeard) than spend
several hours, get my minute at the mic, and then have it poorly transcribed

I think it would be valuable to have a Be Heard section on distopias to be
avoided, in addition to the NewCities prompt.
