For any of the local potters around here, Mike Wendt is setting up to test 
market Moose Creek Feldspar, a very clean low iron kspar similar to the old 
Kingman Feldspar.

Mike has been selling processed Helmer clay for a lot of years, mined here 
in Latah County and shipped to his small plant in Lewiston.  Adding feldspar 
for flux and glazes will add a new dimension to locally derived ceramic 
materials.
