Visionaries,

 

The Big Box Emergency Ordinance will provide some level of protection
against Wal-Mart predatory practices.  However, it's important to realize
that the Emergency Ordinance expires around February 15, 2006.  A more
permanent ordinance is in process but any delays or foot-dragging and
missing that deadline could have serious consequences.  Now is a good time
to become more involved in City government.
