you want, but my point is that there was a Christian Saint Brigid who
was very hospitable, started a church, looked forward to  beer in  
heaven,
and as a side note, did live during the lifetime of Saint Patrick (he
died around 464).

I don't know if there really is beer in a mythical place like heaven  
but there is definitely no beer in the Bible. Neither are there cats  
in the Bible, except in one of the apocryphal (deuterocanonical)  
books. (N.B., Carl).

I have my personal conjecture as to why this is so. Can anyone guess  
what it is?
