Mr. Hansen,

The county assessors office does not list the fair
market value of properties in Latah. It only lists the
taxation rate. The value that the government assigns a
property and what it is actually worth, or "fair
market value", are two completely different numbers.

So your suggestion that Mr. Roderick go to the county
assessor's office to acquire this information is based
on ignorance.

To get a real market value of the property value
between 3rd and 5th street a real estate appraiser
would need to be hired to look at the buildings in
question and quote a price.

To suggest that an individual hire an appraiser and
pay out of their own pocket those expenses to receive
this information is ludicrous.
