Greetings,
I spoke with three of our Deputies who advise that the gates are in all
likelihood not open right now (at least not all of them). Also, during this
time of year, even if they are open, the road would only be passable in a
four-wheel drive vehicle with high clearance (i.e. a Jeep). The heartily
advised against attempting this trip.
Hope that helps,
Jennifer

Subject: [Vision2020] Please verify a MAPQUEST query
This is probably waaay off current discussion topics, but I figured some
well-traveled, knowledgeable visionary out there may know - FOR SURE....
We entered a request for directions from our place on Showalter Road to
Morris Road, Princeton...and according to MapQuest, the best directions are
to take Randall Flat Road to Tamarack Road...which becomes Hatter Creek Road
(i.e., up and over the top of Moscow Mtn) and on to Morris Rd.
So, our question: IS Tamarack Road actually open and passable all the way
to Hatter Creek Road - or are there gates which block travel? or is the road
too rutted to drive?
The difference in miles driven is significant - however, may not be much
less travel time...
Please advise! Thanks!
