[Vision2020] Call to Action

It's the old scare tactic, Wayne.

Back in the 60's, the argument was that 95% of all heroin addicts got their
start on marijuana. The apparent tactic was to suggest that marijuana users
were bound to end up as heroin addicts.

My concern would not have been so much the 95% that started on marijuana as
much as the 5% that started on heroin.

As I have said in the past (and have supported for as long as I can
remember), legalize marijuana and control it like alcohol. Imagine the
state tax revenues that can be generated in California, Hawaii, Florida, or
right here in Idaho.

Wake up, America.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are
dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all
exist very nicely in the same box.

David,

Let's see.

The use of opium, heroin, and cocaine derivatives have been among the drugs
in the treatment plan options for doctors for at least 150 years. Almost
all the new heavy pain medications are synthetic narcotics.

But we can't use a much, much less dangerous, much cheaper substance to
alleviate pain and suffering for many persons?

Ignorance and superstition prevails again.

Thank you for alerting us to this stupidity.

Wayne
