[Vision2020] Call to Action

I agree with you 1,000%, Joan.

The medical catalyst potential of cannabis has been proven over and over
again. The benefits of this potential far outweighs any "perceived" adverse
social impact.

There are literally millions of people that have (and could) lived less
painful lives through medical application of cannabis. Removing this
benefit from those that need it so badly will not terminate their use of it.
Categorizing medical cannabis as illegal will merely convert patients to
criminals.

Wake up, America.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are
dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all
exist very nicely in the same box.

I'm damned sorry that this vote failed, but the battle is far from over.
The jury on the efficacy of medical marijuana is no longer out; it is
firmly in. Medical marijuana helps with glaucoma, the nausea caused by
cancer treatment, pain associated with arthritis, lupus, and a host of
other diseases, and it ought to be readily available to those who need it
and who have a prescription. Let's dispense with the "gateway drug"
horse-crap, the political grandstanding among the hypocritical jackasses of
Congress, and let's get a move on with easing pain and suffering.
