Having just handed Joan a check to help with rental of the Kenworthy, Phil, 
I can assure you it's paid for out of private donations.  Joan wouldn't act 
dishonestly in securing the building, and I'm certain that isn't what you 
were suggesting.

Having just spent a lovely morning with Joan, Phil, I can tell you that Joan 
makes political statements when appropriate, but also pitches in to help out 
a friend in need.  I don't tend to gravitate toward people who are so 
steeped in political foment that they can't help me work with the auto body 
shop.  Perhaps you meant that heart and mind are equally in play with Joan.  
I'm going to assume you did.

As someone who has engaged in many conversations with Joan about spiritual 
things, Phil, I can say this --  if my friend worships as Jew, she is, to 
me, a Jew -- if not by matriarchal descent, then by conversion, and why do 
you care?  I think I'll focus on my depth of devotion to my faith, not on 
hers, and I just know that you are more concerned about yours than about 
either of ours.

Glad we cleared that up.  I hate the smell of mud on a lovely spring day.

Joan you are a North Carolina Baptist, so don't even go there.  I have seen 
the statements you have made on this subject before and frankly they are 
deeply offensive.  You are not Jewish, you are a convert apostate to the 
faith trying to make some sort of political statement.

As for scrutiny, we have a community responsiblity to scrutinize some of 
your activities and those of your sainted MCA.  How much do you make from 
your enterprises Joan, publishing and the rest?  And from a tax exempt radio 
station?  When you use government facilities like the Kenworthy Performing 
Arts Center of the University of Idaho for your political agenda, is turn 
about fair play?

When you and your friends publish false and malicous statement, should we 
roll out the government and shut you down?

I have a lot of your buddies dead to rights on slander and libel per se, but 
unlike you Joan, I leave the government out of it.  The biggest beef I have 
the the CCers right now is that they are playing the same game that you are 
and trying to level counter suits to your actions.

You both need to grow up and battle it out in the realm of ideas and not 
drasg the rest of the community through the mud while you do it.
