Ted asks:

"So what radio station or number of radio stations is this money going to? I already know what radio station the money is going to, and everyone who knows what's going on knows what radio station is involved. But there are some who may not know."

Hi Ted, et al,

I am using the euphemisms "low-wattage broadcasting" and "community radio" because Brother Carl and I are sponsoring this film; KRFP is not. You, Mike Hayes, and Vision 2020 have my word that any and all proceeds will be donated to KRFP Moscow, but I am not using their logo, nor have Brother Carl and I asked the permission of their board to organize a charitable showing of this film on their behalf. Technically, we're organizing it on behalf of The Auntie Establishment and Brother Carl Show, but all the money goes into the larger KRFP pot.

So, why, you might ask, has KRFP left this to Brother Carl and I to organize? Because the two of us work much quicker on our own. We can rent the Kenworthy, organize the advertising, put together flyers, paper the town with them, tip off Vera White, ask Bill London to write and distribute a press release, and get all of this done within 48 hours. Radio stations have these things called governing boards which are slow and ponderous. A governing board has to view a film, have a lengthy confab about whether or not to sponsor it, take a vote, perhaps take another vote, perhaps bring in a mediator if the vote is split, and, in general, they take forever and a day to organize themselves, much less the simple showing of a movie. This is why I am not board material; I lack patience.

Brother Carl and I are not consensus types -- we're Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Only we don't look like Robert Redford and Paul Newman and we tell more (and better) jokes.

PS: I love KRFP, and it will be my pleasure to write them a big fat check. I just don't love working with large groups. That's why I prefer to be like the "Lone Gunmen." Any X-Files fans out there who know what I'm talking about?
