Latest Polls State the Public is Tired of Ignoring that Bush Ignores their
Concerns

Washington, DC - A clear majority of Americans now complain that President
Bush is ignoring the general public's concerns and instead is becoming
distracted and preoccupied by issues as mundane as even gravity and sciencey
stuff he should have been paying attention to in school. But still at times,
he focuses on much more grave issues, like how to defrost an unwanted embryo
and possibly implant it into Jenna, no better make that Barbara, so as not
to risk the cell's feeling left behind. The survey suggested that 58 percent
of Americans felt that Bush has spent his entire second term concentrating
on personal problems, or partisan bickering, and the respondents said these
issues were unimportant to them. When pressed further, respondents added
that they did wish that Bush had concentrated on his personal problems, only
much sooner, say, like maybe 30 years ago, with a trained professional, so
we wouldn't be kicking him into a double digit approval drop from three
years ago as he never would have then felt the insecure, nay Nixomaniacal
need to be elected president in the first godforsaken place. Nearly eight in
ten Democrats say Bush is not concentrating on vital issues while three out
of four Republicans disagree. 4 Out of 5 liberal dentists agree the new "Big
Red" gum logo is cool though, because it reminds them of the Skew.
Continuing violence in Iraq continues to fuel discontent with the White
House but ironically, not with Iraqi oil. Four in ten Americans approved of
the job Bush is doing in Iraq while 58 percent were still unclear as to why
he hasn't yet physically moved his saddle-sored butt over there to actually
do some of the work himself.
