[Vision2020] Fresh Aire Concert Series Schedule

COMMUNITY BAND KICKS OFF SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
   

  Many of the area's best amateur and professional musicians are expected to participate in the Moscow Arts Commission's Community Band this summer.  The band will perform at the first six Fresh Aire Concerts on Thursday evenings, June 2 - July 7 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at East City Park.  

  "We always get a great group of talented musicians," says director Gary Gemberling.   "It's a pleasure to work with individuals who love music and welcome opportunities to play."  Gemberling is a music instructor at Lewiston High School as well as an active member of the local music scene.

   

  The program gets support from the Lionel Hampton School of Music who provides rehearsal space and transport chairs and music stands to East City Park for the concerts.

   

  The Fresh Aire Concert Series will continue with the following local and regional musicians:

  LCSC Saxaphone Quartet                    August 4

  Off the Leash                                        August 11

  Dozier-Jarvis Trio                                 August 18

  Oracle Shack                                       August 25
