It is way too early to start talking about the next president, in my opinion. But, I don't want McCain. At this point I don't know who I would vote for and I pray it doesn't come down to having to vote for someone just so someone else doesn't win.
I bet history treats Bush much more heroic than you think it will.

Pat,
My favorite person right now that I would like to see as president is John McCain. I think he is honest and would lead our country like it needs to be led. I don't see any democrats on the horizon and I think that Howard Dean is an immature idiot. I was disturbed this past week when Scott McClelland the press secretary was trying to change history by saying that we were invited into Afghanistan and Iraq.

Yes, it will be interesting to read a history book in the future. In ten years when Iraq, Iran and other countries in the area are at peace and working toward helping other nations to gain peace I wonder what the books will say about Bush. What a good job he did? Or, that he with great courage stood against all to do what was good for the Middle east. I bet it isn't what you think it will be!

In the 804 days of the war in Iraq, 1,656 American soldiers have died.
I certainly hope history remembers the person/president responsible.
