Visionaries and Nathan Wilson,

Perhaps young Mr. Wilson can help us to understand the following post from a
church member's website.

"Will the state troopers be there too, to lock up every adult who attempts
to obey God's commandment that their children be served sacramental wine in the
 Lord's Supper?
Will government social workers be there too, to see that children are taken
away from their "abusive" parents and placed in a "safe, healthy environment:
(e.g. with homosexual foster parents)?
And will Doug Wilson be thrown to the lions as the consummation to this
circus?
These idiot Statists need to learn real fast that 1) the Lord's Supper is
all about the shedding of blood, 2) real Christians have a line drawn in the
sand where God-ordained matters of worship are concerned, 3) this is a hill that
real Christians are willing to die on, and 4) the folks at Christ Church are
real Christians who are willing to allow their own blood to be shed if
necessary to remain faithful to God in worship.
You are right, Dale (Courtney). These people have NO idea what they are
getting into. IT looks like it's time to leap for joy . . . it's persecution
time, folks. Hang tough. We're all with you in prayer.
[post continued]
. . . imprecatory prayer for the utter confounding of those who hate and
seek to destroy the church of Jesus the Messiah. Yep, these people have NO idea
what they are getting into. They are playing with fire, and with brimstone.

I'm sure you are glad that Mr. Witmer is 10,000 miles away cheering you on
at a safe distance. But since Christ Church has always provided the
congregation grape juice along with communion wine this is really a non-issue, isn't
it? Or, is this really a "hill to die on" as Mr. Witmer claims? Is Dr.
White's fair and judicious decision going to be respected and scrupulously
observed? Or, will our community be treated to one more example of arrogant disdain
for lawful authority?

Rose Huskey
"And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of
the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he  had, even in a scrip;
and his sling [was] in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. "
1 Samuel 17:40
