Dear Visionaries:

Tomorrow night at 7 PM, Moscow's Kenworthy Performing Arts Center will
offer a repeat showing Michael Hayes' documentary, "My Town." The
first showing, on June 23rd, was an unexpected sell-out, raising more
than $1600 for KRFP Radio Free Moscow. Unfortunately, several people
had to be turned away from the box office on June 23rd once the theater
reached capacity. This is your chance (though not your last chance, as
there will be a third showing at another venue in early August) to see
this excellent film. A discussion panel featuring Barbara Richardson
Crouch, Dean Stewart, Roy Atwood and others will follow. With that
excellent line-up, it should be fascinating.

I encourage everyone to attend tomorrow night's showing of "My Town."
It is an excellent movie. We read, hear, and see a great deal about
the so-called "culture wars," but the focus is almost always national.
Michael Hayes takes these national issues and views them through a
local prism; he brings them home to us right here in Moscow, Idaho.
Admission to the Kenworthy is $5 for adults, $3 for children, seniors,
students, and those on a fixed income. It would be a bargain at any
price, but I would note that the Kenworthy's popcorn is freshly-popped
and only one buck a bag. You can't beat that!
