RE: Correction/Retraction

Due to an error in the initial call entry, the wrong Douglas Jacobs was
mentioned in the previous press release regarding drug seizures and Latah
County's drug dogs.   The Latah County Sheriff's Office extends an apology
to the Douglas W. Jacobs mentioned in our earlier release-who was not the
same Douglas Jacobs arrested on July 8, 2005.  Douglas R. Jacobs, a 57 year
old Moscow man, was arrested on July 8, for possession of cocaine,
marijuana, and methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of drug
paraphernalia, and for possession of a concealed weapon without a permit.
Our sincerest apologies to Douglas W. Jacobs and to the public for
publishing the wrong information.
