Question: Can the sensitivity of a motion detector system be adjusted so
that it does not go into "light show" mode every time some animals enter the
yard at night?

Almost all motion detector systems have the photo cell built in to keep from
activating the light in the daytime.

Great post Fiat:

I too use the motion detector system - a perfect solution for my wife and I
- it is not clear that that would pass mustard with the ordinance - it
requires photo sensitive.
