Lee Cox of Missoula, author of the book "Raised on Fear," will be the 
featured speaker at a public presentation on domestic          on 
Tuesday, February 1 at the University of Idaho Law School Court Room. 
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is sponsored jointly by 
Sojourners' Alliance and BookPeople of Moscow.  It is free and open 
to the public.   

Cox is a recovering batterer and will be joined at the presentation 
by his 17-year-old daughter Laci as well as his mother.  They will 
present a moving three-generation portrait of domestic         .   

Cox will speak about his life of abuse and the steps he took to deal 
with his patterns of abusive behavior.  Laci will speak about her 
experience of living with the victim of her father's         -her 
mother-and why she now chooses to live with her father.  Following 
these presentations, Cox's mother will join him and his daughter to 
field questions from the audience.   

This portion of the event will be interactive.   

Cox's book will be available for sale at the event and at BookPeople. 
Donations will be accepted, but the presentation is free.  For more
