[Vision2020] Common ground?

Not sure about this type of phenomenon. However, I do recall being in
Alaska for BRIM Frost '87 (military exercise) and the temperature was about
the same as stated below. I was terribly nearsighted at the time and had
worn contact lenses and glasses most of my life. I woke up in the field
one morning and could see clearly (20/20) -- when I put my glasses on it
was like looking through thick glass. This lasted for about two days
straight -- thought I was cured. LOL! When the temperature moved back up,
the miracle disappeared and I found myself needing glasses again. Doc said
it was the "pressure" that had temporarily reshaped my cornea. Had PRK
surgery in 2002 and swear by it. So, it would appear weird things do occur
with extreme weather/pressure changes.
