Well, there are variations on "what it's all about" for New Years in Moscow,

divineness in the Lord's creation than reading an old book, though the mountain

increasing population, etc., and for the dancing part, air guitar to "Hold On" from 
90125 by Yes.  To completely blow away the winter blues, turn this album up 
loud and surrender to the music in every fiber of your being.  Forget Lawrence 
Welk!

As far as arguing about the New Testament, you know far more about this than 
I do!  

But I might have been tempted to ignore those fools who called you an 
atheist.
