According to the latest TSA list, the following items are still prohibited
as carryons:

Knives - prohibited as carry-on except for plastic or round bladed butter
knives (not serrated).
Scissors - metal with pointed tips and blades longer than four inches in length
Box Cutters
Ice Axes/Ice Picks
Knives - prohibited as carry-on except for plastic or round bladed butter
knives (not serrated).
Meat Cleavers
Razor-Type Blades, such as box cutters, utility knives, razor blades not in
a cartridge, but excluding safety razors
Sabers
Swords
Baseball Bats
Bows and Arrows 
Cricket Bats
Golf Clubs
Hockey Sticks
Lacrosse Sticks
Pool Cues
Ski Poles
Spear Guns
