"I just spoke with an adminstrator that said that one of the mail servers
had a flood of traffic on it that it's still working through. Apparently as
various email worms attempt to spread, they blast out hundreds of thousands
of emails an hour that can overload even the best email systems (and ours is
impressive, handling email for over 26,000 customers) and as much as they
try to limit that with the use of Postini and other methods, from time to
time the sheer volume of traffic causes a backlog. Mail is rarely lost when
this happens though - just delayed."
