This brief in today's Daily News, regarding video recordings of this past 
fall's Water Summit conference organized by Paul Kimmell and Jon Kimberling, 
is worth passing along.  Those who are interested in water issues and were 
unable to attend the summit may review it now by obtaining copies of the DVD 
from our local libraries.

Water summit DVDs at libraries

DVDs of the Palouse Basin Water Summit are available for checkout at the 
Moscow branch of the Latah County Library District and the Neill Public 
Library in Pullman.

More than a dozen speakers presented information about water management 
issues at the summit in October, including representatives from the Idaho 
Department of Water Resources, the Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee, the 
Washington Department of Ecology and keynote speaker Patrick A. Shea, former 
deputy assistant secretary of the Interior for Land and Minerals Management.
