[Vision2020] Nielsen, Nisbet and Nonsense!

Mr. Nielsen asks:
I also challenged Mr. Nisbet (or anyone else) to show us (who is the
us...?) one single person in the Tanakh who died and went to heaven. We
(who is the we..?) are still waiting.

Matthew answers,
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to
bottom; and
the earth shook and the rocks were split. The tombs were opened, and
many
bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming
out of
the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared
to many.

Any more questions you guys?

Dear Doug,

Since when was Matthew part of the Tanakh. If you don't know what the
Tanakh is, ask Mr. Nisbet. But I don't know if he can tell you
because he doesn't want us to call the Tanakh anything else but the
Tanakh.

As for the many resurrected bodies of the saints who came back to
life at the moment Jesus died, where did they spend the Sabbath?
Lying in their tombs? What did they do for clothes when they went to
town on Sunday? Why is there absolutely not a shred of historical
evidence for this remarkable event? Why didn't the other gospel
writers mention it? Furthermore, Doug, nowhere does the text say that
they all went up to heaven with Jesus. What a sight that would be.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands of saints, all rising up into the clouds
with Jesus. Just imagine what would happen if such an event were to
occur on the Palouse. Even the Daily News would be hart put to ignore
it.

Read your Bibles carefully,

Ralph
