Colfax, WA The Palouse Country Cowboy Poets Association has announced their plans for the 10th Annual Palouse Country Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Festival to be held October 21-23 at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds in Colfax, WA. Dubbed "Cowboy Up" On The Palouse, the event will coincide with a Trail Horse and Ranch Dog Clinic, Club Calf sale, horse sale and Team Branding event.

Canadian musicians Matt Johnston and Tammy Gislason along with poet, Mike Puhallo will be featured on the Saturday night show. Other western entertainers scheduled to perform include poets, David Nordquist, Rusty Feathers, A.K. Moss, Smoke Wade, and musicians, Eric Larson, Shiloh Sharrard, Bodie Dominguez, Jim Aasen, Sam Mattise and many more. The cowboy poetry and music sessions will be presented continuously through out the day on Friday and Saturday, with night shows at 7:00PM on both nights. A Cowboy Church hosted by Howard Norskog will be on Sunday at 9:00AM. 

A Ranch Horse Trail Clinic and competition along with a Ranch Dog Training Clinic will be take place during the day on Friday and Saturday. The clinicians are Mitch and JoLinn Hoover of Richland, OR. 

Other events include a show calf sale on Saturday night along with fitting and showing demonstrations. There will be a team-branding event and a horse sale on Sunday.

"Cowboy Up" On The Palouse will be a fun weekend for fans of western entertainment as well as lovers of horses and dogs. There will be art, craft, tack and food vendors on site all weekend. Admission will be a daily gate fee of $10.00 per person or $25.00 for a three-day pass. RV hook-ups are available on site.
