The Latah Economic Development Council will host a farewell party for
Barbara Richardson-Crouch on Tuesday, August 23rd at the University of Idaho
Business Technology Incubator from 4 to 6 PM.

A few of Barbara's success stories include recruiting Comtech-AHA to Alturas
Technology Park and Potting Shed Creations, Ltd., to Troy, both of which
were recently featured on the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor's web
site. She has provided business assistance to a number of local companies
including Benchmark Research & Safety, Bio Tracking, Spirit Springs Day Spa,
San Miguel Tacos, Forest Robots, EcoStructure, CC Benefits, and many more.
She also worked with Joan Alexander to begin an art-based business for
children. She was instrumental in getting the Latah County area featured in
the Horizon Air Magazine, Business Expansion Journal and the Spokane
Business Journal. Ross Dress for Less and Qdoba used demographic and
employment data provided by Barbara in their decision to open stores in the
Palouse Mall. All lots in Alturas Technology Park Phase I have been sold
and construction on Phase II will begin this fall. Her management of the
University of Idaho Business Technology Incubator has brought about 100%
occupancy with a waiting list.

We invite everyone to join us in our celebration and appreciation of
Barbara's work and in wishing her well in all of her future endeavors.
