Moscow Food Co-op Plans Parking Lot Dance Party

 

 

The Moscow Food Co-op will host a public dance party with free live music in the parking lot of the new Co-op store, the former Gart's at Fifth and Washington streets in downtown Moscow, on Friday, August 26, from 6pm to 10pm.

The Food Co-op will be moving to the new location in mid-September, so the event is a preview party, complete with dinners and beer and wine available for purchase.

The dinner of barbequed burgers (meat or vegetarian) with soda and chips will be available from 6pm to 8pm.  A separate beer and wine garden will be available from 6pm to 10pm.

The music will begin at 6pm with Moscow singer-songwriter Lisa Simpson, to be followed by Chubbs Toga.  Chubbs Toga is a four-piece high-energy acoustic bluegrass band from Moscow.  The headline band will be Oracle Shack, a four-member progressive indie/psych/funk group also based in Moscow.  Oracle Shack has toured throughout the Northwest, and will be opening for Blues Traveler at the University of Idaho on August 22.
