Saundra,
Bob Celebrezze, principal at MHS, would be a better person to answer your
questions, but I will say that I don't believe the HS offers keyboarding as
a class, although the junior high does. I don't know to what extent this
is currently a facilities issue, but I can tell you that an expanded HS
campus will allow expanded business-professional classes as well as other
"voc-tech" type offerings. The architects have these spaces in mind in the
designing of the school.

I'm wondering if anyone can clarify a facilities question for me.
My understanding is that keyboarding (definitely a necessary *tool* to send
our kids out into the world with) isn't currently available at our high
school. Is my understanding correct?
If so, it is my understanding that *part* of the reason keyboarding isn't
currently available at our high school relates to the facility -- I'm not
exactly sure how, but I think I understood that part of the problem is there
isn't *adequate* space currently available without cutting something else of
value? Can anyone clarify this for me?
Finally, if my understanding is correct, would building a new high school
allow the district the potential to address that current significant (IMHO)
deficit?
Ms. Mix, I know you aren't my area's trustee, but it seems to me you have
put yourself out here as willing to try to answer questions related to the
facilities bond, and I appreciate that :-) If you don't know the answer,
that's fine -- I understand my questions kind of go beyond just the scope of
facilities.
