[Vision2020] celebrating earth day on the Palouse

Help us celebrate of Earth Day this Friday (April 15) at Friendship Square
in Moscow, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
Mark Solomon, who has previously served as President of the Idaho
Conservation League and Executive Director of the Lands Council, will
discuss the intersection of science and politics in the Bush era. Will Boyd,
Director of Education and Outreach for Friends of the Clearwater, will speak
about the connection between the Peace and Environmental movements. Linda
Arrasmith, from the Palouse Peace Coalition, will talk about the
environmental impact of recent policy decisions.
The Acoustic Wave Machine will provide music.
Tables by local environmental groups, including the Palouse Clearwater
Environmental Institute, Friends of the Clearwater and the Village Bicycle
Project, will offer information and opportunities for involvement.
The event is sponsored by the Palouse Peace Coalition, and the UI Campus
Christian Center.
