[Vision2020] Buildings old and new

While the Chamber is not perfect, I am usually encouraged by its efforts on
behalf of its member businesses.

I'm sure there must be more, but two other entities that I understand
receive gov. funding: Latah Economic Development Council (LEDC) under
contract with Moscow and Clearwater Economic Development Association (CEDA)
under contract with Latah County. Dollar amounts, I do not recall.

Please, Mr. Carscallen -

Enlighten us as to the other organizations that are receiving substantial
donations by the City Council, the organizations that are already receiving
a portion of its finances from tax payers (i.e. Moscow Chamber Commerce).

Perhaps Mr. Kimmel has a response for this query as well. Or should we wait
until Anselm House is open for business before Mr. Kimmell is capable of
answering this question?

Let's wait for Mr. Kimmell's response, OK Mr. Carscallen?

Until then . . .

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are
dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all
exist very nicely in the same box.

Tom asks:

"What has the chamber done lately, other than subject themselves to a
$10,000 donation by the City Council."

What about all the other organizations who "subject themselves to a
$10,000 donation by the City Council"? How many are there? Are they as
scrutinized as the Chamber? Should they be?

Just wonderin'
