Mr Rigsby,

"In the five years that
>I have known the guy, not personally but socially, he has done nothing but
>complain, always has and always will. He claims to be a liberal or
>libertarian, depends on the day, but appears to mimic some of those nasty
>conservatives."

I was unaware that we knew each other. I do not recall ever meeting you. You
do not even know if I have kids or not. You obviously missed some very basic
things about me based on your comments.

Now, I take personal offense to the comment that I do nothing BUT complain.
I do complain, and probably talk too much but let us get our facts straight
Mr. Rigsby. First, do a internet search on Tim Rigsby and then do one on
Donovan Arnold. While I am not bragging, and clearly know that hundreds of
people in this town do more for it then I do, I am certain I have done more
for Moscow and UI then Timothy Rigsby.

Let us make a list shall we:

Donovan:

Moved the parking time from 6 PM to 5 PM that students can park in Gold
parking
Improved Safety on Campus
Saved $50,000 for UI on construction of new Living Learning Center
Helped raise $15,000 for victims of 911
Improved and repaired Family Housing Units
Established equal rights for Gays and Lesbians on Campus
Help Establish a new UI Constitution that eliminated sexism and bigotry
Exposed the three UI Senators that stole burned the Gay/Straight Alliance
Flag
Established a student Government for Family Housing
Helped raise money for Family HOusing
Improved the safety of Family Housing Playgrounds
Established the Kiosks (Little Computers) all around campus for quick access
Doubled funding and support for UI Student Clubs and Organizations
Lowed renting costs for Student Clubs of UI property and facilities
Lobbied and got the UI to replace all student furniture in the Resident
Halls in 2002
Co-Authored the ASUI Constitution
Provided Funding for Alive after Five
Ran the Government and Operations Committee for ASUI
Twice elected and twice appointed student officer

Also involved with outside activates and other organizations including the
Democratic Party and the Graduate Student Association.
Elected Student Office for Human Equality Club (organized events)
Precinct Chair in Hayden Idaho
Elected Alternative Idaho State Delegate
Elected Idaho State Delegate

List for Tim Rigsby:

Officer of student Club
Wrote a letter to the editor of Spokesman Review
Wrote a letter to the editor of Argonaut
Wrote a letter to the editor of the Daily News

Now who is the one that just complains Mr. Rigsby?

I am not always successful in my efforts, like working on elections of
officials, and other issues like the nudity ordinance. But at least I got
the nerve to get involved and make changes. I stand up for what I believe
in, and liberals are not always right, conservatives are not always right,
and libertarians are not always right. So I do not stand on that ideology, I
stand on the issues based on what is fair, realistic, and progressive. In
other words, I use my brain.

And I certainly would never try to make an argument that we need a new high
school because of demands for fly-fishing. Obviously, logic and critical
thinking is not a required course for physical education.

Good day,

Donovan J Arnold
