Dick,

Using your logic, maybe we should just shoot all the Baby Boomers, because 
in fact they are the ones that are draining the Social Security system, 
hospitals, and prison system, not to mention the interest we pay on the 
deficit they racked up on there tax cuts.

If we were to follow your logic of shooting everyone that comes over the 
boarder it would cost the US 800 billion dollars a year and send the economy 
into a massive depression. Why? So glad you asked.

The US would be spending 20% of its Gross National Income on food instead of 
only 10%. 10% of the Gross Nation Income is more than $800 billion.

So eliminating your food production workforce, or replacing them with new US 
workers, would cost us $800 billion across the entire US.

There is no indication that the public services used by illegal immigrants 
exceeds that of $50 billion. So even on the most conservative estimates of 
the costs vs. gains of allowing immigrants into the country saves the US at 
least $750 billion.

Do you hate Mexicans so much that would be willing to take a 5%-20% cut in 
your income?

Mexico and its citizens are a vital part of the US economy. You don't have 
to like, but it is true. They drive the costs in half for our food industry.

My point is, that opening the boarder will only drive those prices down even 
more for food production, and allow the US to know who is coming into the 
country. I don't think giving them some medical care in exchange for working 
their ass off for $2 an hour is to bad of deal, do you, Dick?
