[Vision2020] Signs and portents?

Then, of course, we must take into account the Weekly Reader. Since
1956, Weekly Reader students in grades 1-12 have correctly picked the
president, making the Weekly Reader poll one of the most accurate
predictors of presidential outcomes in history.

They voted for Bush.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you. Either that, or the 'Skins will win.

(making mental not to pick the Redskins this weekend . . .)

We must also take into consideration the Sports Illustrated jinx.

There remains the possibility that the cover of this Friday's Sports
Illustrated may predict the loser.

Will the SI cover reflect the New England Patriot's winning streak (and
thusly
Kerry's loss)? Will it reflect the Dallas Cowboy's continued success
(and
Bush's potential failure)?

Then there are the dreded University of Miami Hurricanes that never seem
to
disappear. What is likely to occur if they grace the cover?
