[Vision2020] 3rd & Jefferson

Does anyone privy to such information know if there's any effort underway to 
finally install traffic lights at the corner of Third and Jefferson?  I live 
right by the public library and shop virtually daily at the Co-op.  To say 
crossing the street is an adventure is an understatement.  With all the 
traffic due to the proximity of Moscow High School, the public library, the 
strip mall that contains the Co-op and other businesses, and the post office 
and courthouse one block away, there's a major accident just waiting to 
happen.  Regardless of one's political, religious, ethnic or sexual 
persuasion, if you get hit by a car at that corner, it's going to hurt.  I 
know that there are many hoops to go through for such a thing, but to 
anyone's knowledge, is there any consideration being given to it?
