"I did not see in this article where Moore was giving gifts to solicit votes
for a particular candidate or party -- only encouraging [bribing] people to
vote."----Wayne Fox

Perhaps that is because they don't really care what the law says, they just
want to find something to attack Moore with.

OK, here is where I am confused. Republicans are against frivolous lawsuits.
Yet, they want to sue a man for handing out underwear?

First, if this is a violation of the Michigan law, they need to consider
revising their laws.

Second, are the Republicans aware that College Student Republican Groups are
entering students into raffles to win prizes for registering to vote?

I would tend to think that gambling and free stuff for registering to vote
was a worse problem then free underwear as a gag. Of course, kids are going
to need the clean underwear if Bush wins the election.

Did you the latest in Florida? Apparently, thousands of new registration
cards were handed in with the "Republican Party" box checked. When the
registration office received the cards, they thought it odd so many were
checked, and checked Republican, so they called the newly registered voters.
Huge numbers of them testified they didn't fill in the box.

I really don't understand why someone would want to be President of a nation
where you have to lie and sue them just to stay in power.

Take Care,

PS to conservatives reading this. Bush is NOT a Real Christian. Real
Christians don't support legislation to execute 14 years diagnosed with
mental retardation.
