[Vision2020] Cingular and the Truth

Consumers:

Remember the discussion on V 2020 awhile back about the fact that Cingular will 
not allow you to take a cell phone usage contract home to read it, but requires 
you to read this lengthy, fine print document at the mall if you wish to read it 
before signing it?

The reason for this policy becomes obvious whenever a bill is received for 
certain kinds of calls that were supposed to be included without additional 
charges according to the salespersons , but in fact do incur additional charges.

On page A12 of today's Spokesman-Review, there is a full page ad from Cingular. 
About 2/3 of the page is a photo.  The text below the photo includes the 
statement:

"Cingular and AT&T have joined forces to bring the largest digital and data 
network in America."

The problem?  The photo is of Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks in 
Banff Park, Alberta, Canada.

Consumers can draw their own conclusions.
