Subject: Re:  Letter from the Republicans

Dear America,

After our election victories in the White House, Senate, and House
of Representatives, please be aware that you will continue to get
poorer (the minimum wage as it stands is plenty to get by) and that
your health care benefits will continue to slip away. In addition,
we will continue to refuse providing discounts for much-needed
prescription drugs, unlike those liberal Brits, who support us in the "war."

Note that John Ashcroft and friends will continue to watch you like you've 
never
been watched, almost as if you're a criminal. The Patriot Act will continue 
to
pick out unsuspecting victims based solely on their race, if not being 
non-Christian.

Let it be known that all homosexuals should return to the closet where they 
belong.
They will continue to live in ambiguous circumstances, and not allowed to 
marry, adopt
children, have spousal benefits, nor will they have a say in their right to 
die, including
if their spouses are dying of AIDS.

With the expected vacancies on the Supreme Court coming, we will soon take
away a woman's right to choose, as we all know women shouldn't be able to
make decisions about their bodies.  Roe vs. Wade is an outdated decision 
that
will soon become extinct.

Your sons and daughters, friends and relatives, and hometown heroes serving 
our
country will continue to be sent to various locations to fight for uncertain 
causes.
We will not ask our friends in the international community to help us, as we 
no longer
have friends in the international community.  In addition, we are recalling 
anyone who
has been honorably or dishonorably discharged since the Gulf War,  And, any 
male (and perhaps
female) may be called in a draft, if he/she is between 19-26 years of age, 
despite his/
her enrollment status in college.

We will continue to bomb and kill dozens of innocent people in an effort to 
kill one or
two presumed terrorists.  We believe that as long as fighting goes on 
somewhere,
you will stand behind your waving flag, unaware of our incompetence, and 
that
you won't mind innocent people in foreign countries dying, as long as
they're not American.  We thank you for that.  Your support gives all of us
rich, white, ignorant men great comfort.
