Some of you folks are cracking me up with the niggling about NSA's=20
accreditation. I'm completely out of the loop on
the discussion/debate, but if the argument for having proper=20
accreditation is so that students won't be fed a sub-standard education=20=
by a bogus school-- the argument is pretty laughable when NSA is the=20
subject. Look at the info below and tell me these kids are getting a=20
poor education. :=AC)
If you've got so much time on your hands that you have to question the=20=
accreditation of schools, go attack a school that has had perfect=20
accreditation for decades but puts out mediocre test-takers and charges=20=
a huge tuition to do it.
Sorry-- just a little burr under my saddle. I'm better now.
EE
New Saint Andrews students rank among the nation's
very best on the ACT and SAT standardized test scores
The ACT/Collegenet database=20
(http://www.act.org/college_search/fset_col_search.html) identifies=20
U.S. colleges and universities by their average test scores, GPAs,=20
gender, race/ethnicity, etc.=A0
The Highest Mean ACT Scores
The ACT/Collegenet database shows that among institutions with=20
unlimited undergraduate enrollment (NSA had 122 students at the time of=20=
the report) on the highest mean ACT score New Saint Andrews College=20
students are 11th nationally, fifth west of the Mississippi, fourth in=20=
the Pacific/Mountain states, and first in both the Northern Mountain=20
states region and Idaho. If you include Idaho with colleges east of the=20=
Mississippi River, NSA students are seventh among schools with=20
unlimited enrollment.
=A0Comparing institutions with smaller undergraduate enrollments (under=20=
4,000), the ACT/Collegenet database shows that on the highest mean ACT=20=
score New Saint Andrews College students are 7th nationally, fourth=20
west of the Mississippi, third in the Pacific/Mountain states, and=20
again first in both the Northern Mountain states region and Idaho. If=20
you include Idaho with colleges east of the Mississippi River, NSA=20
students are fourth among those with under 4,000 undergraduates.
The Highest Mean SAT Scores
The ACT/Collegenet database shows that among institutions with=20
unlimited undergraduate enrollment on the highest mean SAT scores New=20
Saint Andrews College students are 88th nationally, 25th west of the=20
Mississippi, 18th in the Pacific/Mountain states, and first in both the=20=
Northern Mountain states region and Idaho. If you include Idaho with=20
colleges east of the Mississippi River, NSA students are 63rd among=20
those with unlimited enrollment.

the=20
ACT/Collegenet database shows that on the highest mean SAT score New=20
Saint Andrews College students are 65th nationally, 20th west of the=20
Mississippi, 13th in the Pacific/Mountain states, and=A0 again first in=20=
both the Northern Mountain states region and Idaho. If you include=20
