Arnold Schwarznegger is no Jesse Ventura.
Former Governor of Minnesoata Ventura ran as a true independent, financially
supporting his own campaign out of his own pocket without PAC support in a
state that is familiar with the name "Humphrey" as much as the state of
Massachusetts is familiar with "Kennedy".
Yet, Schwarznegger claimed to have started his campaign as an independent
and ended up running as a Republican backed by a fair amount of PACs. So,
the only common ground between Schwarznegger is found on one movie's
credits.
