Elizabeth Fox-Genovese is a major scholar on the issues of slavery. I
don't like her at all. She is also the Editor of the Journal of the
Historical Society.

The controversy about Douglas Wilson is over a book about slavery. I
think having a prominent slavery scholar speaking at a Wilson event I
think fits very well into Wilson's plans.
